Does SculpSure® Give You the Same Results as Liposuction?

4 Minute Read:

One of the most common cosmetic frustrations that brings both men and women to plastic surgery offices is having excess fat in localized areas of their bodies. These men and women may desire a slimmer, more toned appearance but have found that the natural method of diet and exercise just isn’t working.

That’s because some fat is resistant to these methods. This stubborn fat remains in the body, no matter what you do…unless you have the help of cosmetic procedures.

While liposuction is one of the most trusted body contouring cosmetic procedures, with over 210,000 liposuction surgeries performed in 2020, many patients are hesitant to undergo a surgical procedure that involves anesthesia, incisions, and recovery time.

That’s why many men and women consider non-surgical body contouring procedures like SculpSure®.

But are these non-surgical options as good as liposuction?

Below, we’ll explore this question along with taking a look at how these procedures are performed.

What Is Liposuction?

Liposuction surgery is one of the most versatile cosmetic surgical procedures available. That’s because it can be performed as a standalone procedure or as part of other procedures, such as tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty), buttock augmentation (Brazilian Butt Lift), and Mommy Makeover surgery

For liposuction, Dr. Davison or Dr. Pinell will make a small incision in the treatment area. Then, a thin tube called a cannula will be inserted through the incision to loosen the subcutaneous fat

Once the fat is loosened, it is vacuumed/suctioned out of your body through the cannula. And the best part is that these fat cells are gone for good, allowing you to enjoy your trimmed and toned results.

What Is SculpSure®?

SculpSure® is a non-invasive treatment that is designed to get rid of subcutaneous fat in your abdomen and/or love handles with the use of laser energy.

For your procedure, the SculpSure® applicator will be applied to the skin in the treatment areas. Laser energy is then delivered through the skin to heat and essentially melt the targeted fat cells without affecting any of the surrounding skin or tissue.

Over the next several weeks, your body will eliminate these destroyed fat cells to leave you with a more toned look and feel.

The Pros and Cons of Each…

Liposuction

Liposuction is one of the most performed procedures for a reason. The results obtained from liposuction are dramatic.

However, it is important to understand that this procedure does require surgery (even though it is not the most invasive plastic surgery option), which means that you will be given anesthesia, small incisions will be made, small scars may be left, and downtime will be required.

SculpSure®

With SculpSure®, you do not need to worry about surgery, since there are no incisions being made. And because of this, you can enjoy your results with little to no recovery time. This means that you can get back to work and your normal, daily activities in no time.

However, patients usually require two to four SculpSure® treatment sessions before they see optimal results.

So, Which Procedure Is Better?

You can achieve a thinner, more contoured aesthetic with both of these procedures, which can make you look more youthful and can improve your confidence and self-esteem.

After either of these procedures, you can look forward to wearing the clothes you’ve always wanted but never had the figure to wear, and you can find yourself feeling more comfortable in social situations (especially at the beach or pool).

However, it needs to be understood that while SculpSure® offers stunning results, these results cannot truly match the results that can be achieved with liposuction. And it is because of liposuction’s invasive method that this is the case.

To see more body contouring transformations, visit our liposuction before and after gallery or our SculpSure® before and after gallery.

Your plastic surgeon is able to remove more fat with liposuction than they are with SculpSure®. And liposuction can be used on numerous areas of the body, where SculpSure® is limited to the midsection.

With that being said, SculpSure® can be the best option for qualifying men and women who are looking for a less extensive procedure to help them look and feel their best.

Ultimately, if you are looking to contour your body with either of these procedures, you need to think about your aesthetic goals and what you feel comfortable having performed.

At your body contouring consultation, your plastic surgeon will be able to help discuss the benefits and drawbacks of each of these options as they apply directly to you to help you decide which procedure is best for you.

Recovery from Body Contouring Procedures

Focusing on the desired results helps everyone get through the process of recovery. Cosmetic surgery recovery is not easy, but it’s well worth it. Besides focusing on the end results, it does help you get through recovery if you manage your expectations of the recovery process. While we covered Breast Augmentation in depth last blog, here are some more bits of information about the recoveries for some of the other most popular body contouring procedures.

Breast Lift
Typical recovery for a Breast Lift is less than Breast Augmentation because the pectoralis muscle is not manipulated during surgery. Some people are able to go back to work as early as 3 to 6 days after surgery. The raised and tightened nipple and skin will have bruising and swelling for about 7 to 10 days, which can be covered with clothing. Things should feel back to normal around 3 months.

Abdominoplasty

The Tummy Tuck is bit more intense of a surgery than a Breast Augmentation. You will definitely need someone staying with you to help for at least the first 1 to 2 nights. Usually minimum work time off is 10 days. Support garments are necessary for 6 weeks and its crucial to not bend quickly or put any extra strain on the abdomen muscles. Even though movement increases, swelling could last up to 3 months. Optimal results are seen in 6 to 8 months. This makes the Fall and Winter the ideal time to schedule your Tummy Tuck so you can be ready to show off your new flat tummy for the next Spring and Summer.

Liposuction
Recovery from Liposuction is usually pretty short and can be accomplished with some quality rest over a long weekend. If you’re treating multiple areas, it could be 2 to 4 days, then back to work and other daily activities. Just don’t plan on being in a swim suit for the next 2 months because there will be bruising for around 2 weeks and scar healing. It’s great timing to get this procedure in the Fall or Winter months because the extra layers of clothing cover the bruising and compression garments.

Brazilian Butt Lift
This increasingly popular procedure is best performed in the winter months, to give yourself at least 4 months for swelling to dissipate and your new butt to be swimsuit season ready. A Brazilian Butt Lift requires harvesting fat from one part of the body and placing it into the buttocks area. You should feel well enough to be up and about after only 2 days, depending on what part of the body that the fat was collected from. The hardest part of recovery for this procedure is that you shouldn’t be sitting on your buttocks for about 8 weeks so that the fat placement isn’t disrupted. A compression garment and a donut pillow should help you through that part.

Vaginal Rejuvenation
After Labiaplasty, you should be able to return to work and daily activity after a long weekend of rest and staying off your feet. Some soreness and swelling will continue to resolve over the first 2 weeks. Ice packs and over the counter pain medication can help with discomfort. The main requirement is to abstain from any pubic pressure, including wearing tight clothing, certain workouts, horseback riding and intercourse for 3 to 6 weeks to allow for healing.

I hope these overviews of recoveries gave you a good start to understand what you might experience. In our consultation, we discuss your expectations in depth. Schedule one today at www.davinciplastic.com.

Tell Your “Tank Toppers” Goodbye

One of those subtle but annoying body issues many women deal with are those pooches of fat that bulge between the breast and armpit when they wear a tank top, swim suit or bra. This troublesome pooch can be called “bra bulge,” “tank toppers,” “armpit rolls” or the official name, which is axillary roll. What most women don’t realize is that this is an issue often exacerbated by a Breast Augmentation. If you have them before getting breast implants or a Breast Lift, they will likely be even more prominent.

This fatty tissue is often present even when there is little breast tissue, making it applicable for women who even have small upper bodies. Fortunately, getting rid of this little pocket is very simple and can even be done at the same time as the Breast Augmentation is completed. It would simply require a little touch of Liposuction.

When this axillary roll is reduced at the time of the Breast Augmentation or Breast Lift, the Liposuction smoothes out the upper sides of the breast and armpit areas. With less bulk in this region, there is better breast definition and upper body contour for overall greater happiness with the Breast Augmentation results.

This add on axillary roll Liposuction will increase surgery time by an hour or 2, but it’s for such a small pocket that it only includes a little more bruising and swelling to the sides of the breast and armpit during the recovery time.

Doing multiple procedures at one time definitely has its benefits. You’re in surgery one time, under anesthesia once and going through recovery once. For example, with the Mommy Makeover, women are addressing multiple issues at one time to restore their post partum bodies. Depending on individual goals, this can include Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, Liposuction, Tummy Tuck, and Vaginal Rejuvenation.

Tell your “tank toppers” goodbye. To eliminate your armpit bulge and have smoother breast definition, consider adding on axillary Liposuction to your Breast Augmentation or Breast Lift. Schedule your consultation at www.davinciplastic.com.

How to Decide: SculpSure, Liposuction or Tummy Tuck?

Options are great. Helping you find and execute the right option for your goals is what I do best. When it comes to weight loss, there are a variety of ways to contour the body. Ideally in all cases, you should be taking care of your body with a good diet and exercise. Sometimes the weight loss resulting from a healthy lifestyle leaves excess skin, and sometimes it leaves behind pockets of fat that just won’t budge. Here are some suggestions for handling these situations:

Lots of Loose Skin After Weight Loss

What a great feeling it is to finally shed that extra weight. It’s a physical and emotional relief. However sometimes the uncomfortable reminder of stretched, loose, saggy skin is left behind. This is not what anyone hopes for after the discipline and hard work to lose enough weight to have this issue. The amount of pounds lost, age, diet, hydration and skin elasticity all are factors in the degree of loose skin. Fortunately, in the case where there’s a good amount of loose skin, Abdominoplasty, also called the Tummy Tuck, is a comprehensive abdominal sculpting procedure to sculpt and smooth this area. Any excess skin and fat will be trimmed, the abdomen flattened, and the belly button positioned properly. Recovery can take 1 to 4 weeks depending on how much contouring is done, and the long scar, which is considered a more preferred trade off than the large degree of sagging skin, will be hidden within the bikini line.

Little to No Loose Skin, Consider Lipo

When there is good skin elasticity, but a notable amount of stubborn fat, Liposuction could be the solution. This surgery will make the abdomen thinner but not tighter, so good skin and muscle tone is key to a smooth outcome. There is minimal scarring with Liposuction and about half the recovery time of Abdominoplasty.

SculpSure for Small Stubborn Fat Pockets

SculpSure is not designed for dramatic weight loss results, but is for those subtle, yet bothersome spots that you want to smooth out. It’s wonderful that there is a clinically proven, FDA approved laser treatment that is effective and has absolutely no down time. Literally you can get a treatment over your lunch break and return to work or your work outs that day. In the targeted treated areas, SculpSure eliminates 24% of fat cells, which do not ever return. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle once you’ve gotten SculpSure will mean that you won’t have to worry about those love handles or stubborn belly pooch returning.

The smooth, flat abs you desire could be a reality. Let me help you consider the best option for your body contouring goals, no matter how dramatic or subtle they may be. Visit www.davinciplastic.com today.

Mothers Love Mommy Makeovers

Mother’s Day is approaching soon and it is time to show love and honor the mothers in our lives. Last blog we talked about giving the gift of youthfulness to moms. For some, they’re satisfied with a day at the spa, for others, they’d like longer term youth enhancing effects of a Filler Facelift. And yet there’s another more entailed way to give the gift of rejuvenation to the mother in your life, and that’s with a cosmetic procedure.

Making the decision for plastic surgery is not an overnight decision nor something to just “pop up” with as a gift. However, there are mother’s who’ve been talking about wanting a procedure to help restore confidence and some youthfulness to their face or figure. These are the women who would be over the moon ecstatic if you said for Mother’s Day “go for it” on that surgery to help revitalize and restore her physically and in turn, emotionally.

The physical toll a mom has on her body manifests in different ways. Most often the act of bearing and breastfeeding children catalyze the most drastic changes any woman’s body will go through. More often than not, this miraculous act leaves some marks. These signs of motherhood are something many women are proud to bear, but others would rather see things looking back to an earlier time frame.

These procedures are particularly helpful for the body issues that moms deal with:

  1. Breast Augmentation and Breastlift restores and improves breasts that really can take a toll through the weight fluctuations of pregnancy and breastfeeding. Often breasts end up deflated and sagging after childbearing years, which can be a real bummer for moms who still are young.
  2. Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) addresses the issues from damaged abdomen muscles, residual stubborn adipose fat and stretched skin. Growing a baby requires extreme expanding and contracting of the abdomen, which leaves unwanted effects for many women. Tummy tuck restores confidence and a smooth abdomen.
  3. Liposuction eliminates those stubborn fat pockets that came with pregnancy and hormone changes that sometimes a healthy diet and exercise just don’t address. With liposuction, those undesirable bulges in on the abdomen, hips, and thighs can be streamlined and contoured for satisfaction with those body curves.
  4. Labiaplasty is a FemGen procedure that is gaining more popularity. Even after healing from a vaginal birth, that area can remain uncomfortable and not aesthetically preferable. Labiaplasty can help the nether regions feel normal again to restore confidence and comfort.

For those mothers who’ve already expressed an interest in surgery, giving the gift of a restored body for Mother’s Day could be the best way to honor and encourage them. It can say, “I love you how you are and appreciate the sacrifices you’ve made as a mother, but want you to love and feel confident in your motherhood and body, too.” To talk about how to go about supporting the mother in your life in this way, you can schedule a consultation to talk about any of these Mommy Makeover procedures at www.davinciplastic.com.

The Degree of Tummy Tuck

I customize an adaptation of the Tummy Tuck for each patient depending on the degree of loose skin, separated abdomen muscles, excess fat and other factors. However, for general understanding, there are terms that describe the degree of surgery, which involves how much of an area the Abdominoplasty is to address.

For example, while the names of the different degrees of Abdominoplasty wouldn’t be exactly the same thing for every patient, generally they would acknowledge how high on the abdomen or how far around the torso that the surgery would address. Here is a general definition of the types of Abdominoplasty and the differences between them:

  1. Mini Tummy Tuck addresses a smaller abdominal region, usually just a little pooch under the belly button. This is an area that, despite consistent healthy diet and exercise, just won’t go away. It can be a combination of any or all of excess skin from weight loss, stubborn adipose tissue, and the lower separation of the abdominal muscles due to pregnancy or injury. A mini Tummy Tuck only addresses the lower abdomen, so it doesn’t require moving the belly button. This option has a smaller incision and recovery is the fastest.
  2. Full, Complete or “Classic” Tummy Tuck addresses fat, muscle and skin from a larger region. It contours the full abdomen area from just below the breasts down to the pubic area. This is necessary for more extreme contouring scenarios were there is a pouch or skin flap above and below the belly button. Since the complete abdomen is being contoured, the reconstruction of the navel is possibly necessary. A naval area incision hidden within the belly button can address upper abdominal region and a lower incision from hip to hip (which can usually be hidden within the bikini line) will allow for full frontal contouring. This results in a smooth, flat abdomen with a beautiful, tight, anatomically correct belly button.
  3. Extended Tummy Tuck contours the abdomen and waist to address both belly and love handles. It addresses the frontal abdomen area with the Full Tummy Tuck, but extends the incision so that liposuction and skin tightening can occur further around the body to contour the flanks, as well.

As long as weight at the time of the surgery is maintained, the smooth, flattened abdomen results should be permanent. This is why its recommended for women to wait to have a Tummy Tuck until after their done having children. Some women combine Abdominoplasty with Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift or Liposuction to other areas for a complete body makeover.

Having a smooth, flat abdomen is healthier, and looks great for both men and women. Feel great about you look in a swimsuit or form fitting clothes. Schedule your Tummy Tuck consultation today at www.davinciplastic.com.

SculpSure Targets Fat Where Men Need It Most

While men usually enjoy some benefits of showing their age slower than women, they don’t get to escape the slower metabolism that comes with age. Also, starting in their 30s, men will start to lose muscle mass unless they become more physically active and change their diet. Fat replaces the muscle tissue and you know how that goes. Add increased work and family demands to the picture and most men will struggle to keep off those extra pounds, especially around the waist. Fortunately, SculpSure is the solution that most men dream of.

Men Carry Weight Differently Than Women

Studies show that men and women carry more fat cells in different regions of the body. The fat distribution is as different as pears and apples. Women typically have more fat cells in the lower half of their body, such as hips and thighs. This gives them more of a pear shape. Generally, men carry their extra weight around the middle, such as their belly and “love handles.” Hence, weight gain in men resembles more of an apple shape.

No More Apple Shape, No Downtime

Fortunately, there’s a way to destroy those fat cells to prevent that apple from ever growing on the tree so to speak. SculpSure is the world’s first laser treatment cleared by the FDA to target the fat in the abdomen and flanks, which is the most common trouble areas for men. This state of the art treatment uses controlled light based technology to eliminate up to 24% of fat cells in the targeted area. And even better is that you can get these results without stopping your busy schedule. A 25 minute SculpSure treatment can be done over the course of a lunch break and you’re right back to work.

Look and Feel Great

When you consider the implications of carrying extra fat not only on how you look, but the way you feel and your overall health, it’s an extra motivation to trim down. Getting rid of extra weight around the middle can reduce back pain and puts less weight on your lower joints. Less knee and back pain can help the weight loss cycle. Also, there are studies that correlate health related risks, such as type 2 diabetes and coronary heart disease, with extra abdomen fat. While you’ll feel an amazing confidence boost after melting away those fat pouches around your middle, your chances for overall heath will improve.

SculpSure targets fat where men need it most, but it can also address other problem areas. Visit www.davinciplastic.com today to talk about how SculpSure can help you or the man in your life.

Spring Into Swimsuit Season with SculpSure

Spring officially starts this week and the weather is going to start warming up. Get ahead of the game and start preparing for swimsuit season now. Don’t worry about those extra pouches of body fat. Prepare ahead of time and feel confident going into it.

While you still have time for Liposuction, if you’re saving up your vacation time for the summer beach getaway and don’t want to use it for surgery recovery, you have another fat eliminating option. SculpSure is a no down time solution to melting away stubborn pouches of fat.

Tough Troubles Spots

Sometimes even the most disciplined lifestyle changes, of eating healthy and working out, don’t have an effect on those stubborn fat deposits. There are areas that no matter how hard you work, nothing seems to touch them. Fortunately, SculpSure can reach those areas such as the:

  • lower abdomen
  • love handles
  • inner or outer thigh
  • above the knees
  • around the side and back bra lines

Take It in Stride

SculpSure is an in and out procedure. It requires no downtime or recovery, so you don’t have to miss out on your busy schedule of work or play. There are no scars or visible signs on the skin’s surface. The only side effect is a nice, smooth area where the fat was melted away.

Clinically Proven Results

The documented results demonstrate each 25 minute session wipes out up to 24% of treated fat cells. This innovative body contouring treatment uses light based technology that zeroes in on fat cells and destroys them; only eliminating adipose fat and not damaging the dermal tissue. The specialized laser targets fat cells below the dermal layer of skin. While the fat is melting away, the surface is being cooled by the Contact Cooling process. This means there are:

  • no incisions
  • no suctioning
  • no skin damage
  • no discomfort… only great results!

The effects of SculpSure treatments are cumulative and build over time with each 25 minute session. Optimal results are reached at 12 weeks, but for some people desired results can be seen as early as 6 weeks.

SculpSure is the clinically proven effective way to melt up to 24% of fat cells in a session. If you’d like to say goodbye to those stubborn fat pouches, schedule a SculpSure consultation with me today. I can help you enjoy your spring and summer swimsuit body. Just visit www.davinciplastic.com.

Looking Into Liposuction?

This tried and true surgery for removing fat has proven its effectiveness over decades. If you’re looking into Lipo, there are a few ways to tell if it’s the best option for you. It may be perfect alone or in combination with other procedures for your ideal results.

WHAT IT IS:

Goodbye Stubborn Bulges

Liposuction is great for people who have already reached or are near their ideal weight yet are struggling to lose those fat bulges in stubborn spots. After getting healthy with a good diet and exercise routine, Liposuction is perfect for contouring those areas of the body with that hard to lose fat. Liposuction has these wonderful effects:

  • smoothes the thighs to eliminate saddle bags or create less inner thigh friction
  • lumps above or behind the knees are contoured so that this area of the leg is not prominent
  • flattens out that lower abdomen to take care of fat, for example from that stubborn post baby belly pooch
  • minimizes the hip’s muffin top for a more comfortable and flattering fit in your clothes
  • bra fat bulges aren’t detracting from the upper body curves that should be there
  • even eliminates double chin if the skin has good elasticity

Farewell Fat Cells

Liposuction permanently removes fat cells from the body so they are gone forever. This gives you a great benefit in keeping the weight off because we don’t produce any new fat cells. However, the fat cells that aren’t removed can expand, so this means it’s incredibly important to maintain a healthy lifestyle to continue enjoying the beautiful benefits from Liposuction.

WHAT IT IS NOT:

Skin and the Scale

A common misconception is that Liposuction can be used to remove fat instead of healthy diet and exercise. It is not intended as a way for you to lose weight. You might actually not see a huge difference in that number on the scale. However, you will see it in inches and how your clothes fit.

Another consideration is the elasticity of the skin. We don’t want to have loose, hanging skin left in the area where the fat was removed. If there is stretched skin from previous weight loss, and liposuction is needed to eliminate those last stubborn fat cells, it can be combined with Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), Neck Lift or other skin trimming procedure for the best body contouring results. It also can be combined with the non invasive laser treatment SculpSure to melt away small mounts of fat and slightly tighten the skin.

MAKING THE MOST OF LIPO

An additional benefit of Liposuction is that you can use the fat that is removed from where you DON’T want it and insert it to areas where you DO want it. Using your own fat is the most natural way to restore volume to the areas of your face and body that you’d like to plump up. This could be used to enhance your breasts, butt, facial features and even boost the look of your six pack or other muscles. This additional body rejuvenation can be done in the same session as the Liposuction for an overall body benefit.

So if you’re looking into Liposuction as a body contouring option, let’s talk about what it can do for you. Schedule a consultation at www.davinciplastic.com.

Plan Your Procedures

While you may initially come into my office to address an immediate beauty need, we will take the time in our consultation to talk about your long term beauty goals and to help you with a plan. This plan may start off with some non invasive treatments, such as a Liquid Facelift using a variety of injectables to touch up and rejuvenate some crows feet, furrowed brows or mouth parenthesis creases. Then it might build into a 5 to 10 year plan for a mini facelift to address slightly sagging jowls and neck or Blepharoplasty to open up drooping eyelids for a brighter, more rested looking eye area. Either way, this plan should not only focus on immediate needs, but incorporate treatments for future youth restoration goals and maintenance.

Cosmetic surgery and non invasive treatments can easily be performed all year long, however, there are certain times of year that lend themselves to easily incorporate the rest and recovery that make it more convenient. Also, there are also certain issues you may want to address before a special event (think: high school reunion or holiday party) or time of year (think: bikini season).

Here is a seasonal surgery guide with suggestions for planning your procedure:

Fall

After the activity of summer and before the flurry of winter festivities, the fall season offers a perfect break in the social calendar for most people. This means that recovery time away is easy to schedule. Also, the cooler weather means clothes with more coverage and comfort. After getting any kids and grandkids settled into school, the scheduled routine or empty nest would allow for effortless predictability and rest for scheduling a surgery. It also will allow plenty of healing time for you to approach the holidays recovered and looking great. This is a good time for anything from Liposuction, Blepharoplasty, Facelift to Breast Augmentation. Fall is my first choice for cosmetic procedures.

Winter

This season offers some good opportunities for cosmetic surgeries. Before the new year, the injectables are the best because you can’t afford downtime between Thanksgiving and New Years, but January is the perfect month to kick off the New Year with a big step towards your beauty and healthy body goals. Winter scarves and turtlenecks easily cover the bruising or swelling from Kybella or a Facelift. Also the bulkier clothes will conceal any over night changes to the body from a Tummy Tuck or Liposuction. The Martin Luther King and Presidents Day holidays allow for long weekends and time off work without the usual holiday social schedule.

Spring

These are the months to rejuvenate and refresh yourself along with the start of a new season, and to prepare for the summer season. Body image procedures such as Liposuction, Brazilian Butt Lift, and Breast Augmentation are popular this time of year. Also, by this time, some of the results from New Years resolutions for weight loss have a chance to kick in and become a habit so that body contouring can have optimal results.

Summer

Surgery can be a success in the summer, but it’s crucial to stay out of the sun. The heat and sweat can be irritating during recovery. It’s always a great time for injectables like Botox, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra since these injectables are in and out so you’re on your way to looking fabulous for your vacation. Another fabulous non invasive, body contouring rpocedure to trim away small puches of stubborn fat is SculpSure. Popular summer break surgical procedures are Rhinoplasty and Otoplasty between the school years.

Let me help you make your procedure plan for your ideal image by scheduling a consultation today at www.davinciplastic.com.

Men Are Getting Cosmetic Procedures in 2017

More men are seeking enhancements than ever before.
Their perspective on it has changed and they believe cosmetic surgery creates a competitive career edge… and is a confidence booster. Also, men today see plastic surgery and non invasive cosmetic treatments as part of their regular health care routine, like going to the gym or eating healthy.

Botox for Bro’s = Brotox
Botox for men has been coined  -“Brotox.” Brotox can reshape a tired or gruff appearance into a more friendly, rested look. Men also like this because there is no down time – so no productivity loss. Brotox is often done in our office during a lunch break or in between meetings. Also, Brotox allows for gradual minor – subtle changes. Men love being told that they look more rested, happier or healthier…and no one but you knows why!

Move Over– Mommy Makeovers — Here Comes Daddy Do Overs
The most recent years have seen big increase in “Mommy Makeovers” to help women get their pre- baby body back. It’s a well deserved group of rejuvenation procedures for women who have sacrificed physically and emotionally for their their family. Yes, The effects are different for men, but raising kids takes its toll on men’s bodies too. So …They want to look and feel younger and have many more years to enjoy their children and grandchildren. This is also why more men are choosing to get “Daddy Do Over” surgeries as part of their health routine.

More Popular Procedures for Men…

  • Along with Brotox, Injectables like Juvederm are popular because they don’t require down time.
  • They minimize deep forehead creases, crow’s feet or nasolabial folds.
  • They can also fill in pock marks that give the skin a smoother appearance.

Blepharoplasty reduces hooded eyelids, bulging under eyelids that can age and impede vision. This rejuvenates the upper and lower eyelids to rejuvenate a tired or gruff appearance.

Male Breast Reduction corrects the gynecomastia (male breasts) to sculpt their upper body and help restore their feeling of masculinity.

Men want that masculine “V” shaped torso again, which can be restored with Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) to remove fat and extra skin or Liposuction to remove fat.

Through roughhousing and sports, guys are more likely to have their nose broken, which affects the appearance, and ability to breathe. Rhinoplasty restores the appearance and breathing caused by blocked nasal passages.

Men still desire a strong chin as a sign of masculinity, which can be accomplished by a Chin Augmentation with implants or Injectable Fillers. Also a double chin can be removed with Liposuction or Kybella.

Men, let’s talk about what I can do to help you with confidence, performance and satisfaction with your appearance and physique.

Enjoy Summer….Look Trim…No Downtime…

Bikini season is in full swing. This time of year everyone is conscious of how they look in a swimsuit or more revealing summer wear. But since we’re already in the midst of the summer season, it’s not an ideal time to get surgery, such as liposuction, without having to miss out on the enjoyment of the outdoor fun. This is where a fat reducing solution like Cynosure SculpSure can help.

Trim Tummy and Summer Fun with Cynosure
Even with a healthy diet and regular work out sessions… some areas of fat just resist going away. This often “dampers”  your confidence to wear those lighter or tighter summer outfits. Fortunately, Cynosure SculpSure is a non surgical solution to reduce body fat in those stubborn areas – like the abdomen and love handles.

Cynosure SculpSure requires no downtime or recovery that will keep you from enjoying the fun outdoor summer activities. With SculpSure you can have a natural looking slimmer appearance without scars or any effect to the skin’s surface. You can also return to everyday activities immediately after a treatment, so you’ll never miss out on the fun while undergoing SculpSure treatments.

How does Cynosure Sculpsure work?
This innovative body contouring treatment is clinically proven to reduce stubborn fat in problem areas.
