I have had satisfied patients with both Silicone and Saline implants. But one of the most common disparities between the two is the difference in how the breast feels with each. I’ve heard a saline implant described to feel like a water balloon and the silicone to feel more like the supple breast tissue. There is also more flexibility on choosing the incision site, since the saline implant can be placed through the armpit, areola, or the crease under the breast.
