EVOLENCE® PROCEDURE:
Evolence® is injected under the wrinkle or fold, using a tiny needle and precise doses, and is easily done during your lunch hour. The natural collagen structure of Evolence® fills the space of the depleted collagen and decreases the appearance of wrinkles. Your skin will immediately appear smoother. A little discomfort, swelling and redness is normal and may be expected after your injections, but it all resolves within a few hours to a day or two.

Who is a good candidate for Evolence® injection treatments?
Men and women who, when looking into the mirror, are unhappy with the loss of youthfulness and facial fullness which has resulted in lines, wrinkles and loss of contour, may be ideal candidates for Evolence® treatments. Dr. Davison and his staff will be able to determine this during your personal consultation – when a personalized treatment plan will be created for your needs and concerns.
What is Evolence® Collagen Filler?
Evolence® is a dermal filler which is used to replace collagen that is depleted naturally due to normal aging and other factors such as sun exposure, hormonal changes, lifestyle, smoking or genetics, for example.
What makes Evolence® different from other dermal fillers?
Evolence® is a collagen replacement product. There are several excellent dermal fillers available today – but they are not collagen products.
Why is Collagen so important?
Collagen occurs naturally in our body to provide support, strength and structure for facial contour. As we age collagen is depleted. This is a normal process but one that causes aging to appear visually in our faces by the formation of lines, wrinkles, folds and loss of contour. Replacing lost collagen does not stop aging – but it does restore lost volume and contour to restore a more youthful appearance.
How is Evolence® made and is it safe?
Evolence® is made of highly purified porcine collagen that is crosslinked via GLYMATRIX™ technology to provide long lasting results.
Is skin testing required before an Evolence® treatment?
Skin testing is not needed unless you are allergic to porcine products or have had a reaction to prior collagen treatments. Discuss this with Dr. Davison if you have concerns.
When is Evolence® collagen filler appropriate?
Evolence® was developed for correction of moderate to deep facial wrinkles and folds.
How many Evolence® treatments are needed to achieve optimal results?
Typically – good results are achieved with only one treatment. The results vary person by person and Dr. Davison will be able to advise you as to your personal needs.
Will insurance pay for my Evolence® treatment(s)?
No – insurance does not pay for cosmetic procedures. There is financing available today for many cosmetic procedures, so ask about this in our business office.
Who will administer the Evolence® injections?
Dr. Davison and his Physician’s Assistant and Nurse Practitioner have many years of experience, are specially trained and highly skilled in performing all dermal injection procedures. This is very important to avoid possible side-effects and poor outcomes. Injectable treatments require great skill and an artistic eye. |
